Children's Mercy Hospital enforces strict regulations on donations collected from the community since their top priority is the kids health and safety. CMH can only collect brand new, non-toxic, and odor free products. We have connected with donors offering used clothes, shoes, and toys but unfortunately CMH can not accept these donations. CMH connected us with Operation Breakthrough, which is an educational center for kids in poverty/homelessness. They provide resources for the families and kids suffering from the dangers of poverty, like providing on-site emergency care center with Children's Mercy Hospital.
We will continue to support Operation Breakthrough and their mission towards our community. We support by collecting clothes, shoes, toys, educational tools, and hosting engaging activities during their free time.

Our one year anniversary we had a celebration planned but unfortunately we had to cancel due to unexpected circumstances. Our founder went to a local restaurant and decided to celebrate everything the foundation has done for the community. She explained to the waitress the circumstances and a very compassionate couple bought dessert to help celebrate our anniversary! We will forever remember that moment and we hope to cross paths with them to show our gratitude!

This year has been both a roller coaster and a blessing! For our 2 year anniversary, we collected donations to create a care package for our Downtown Lee's Summit Fire Department. This basket includes stress toys, flashlights, grilling utensils, and snacks.
Our community is more than grateful for our firefighters and police officers that protect us every single day. We hope to provide more care packages for them in the future!
