My Story

     Hello, my name is Faith. I am a 21-year-old entrepreneur, and my goal is to change the world and the lives around me. One way is to raise awareness for children in hospitals  receiving specialized treatment, for example, Children's Mercy. The reason why I'm so passionate for helping the kids is because I was once one of the kids. I've had a chronic illness for about 11 years, so I've had my fair share of hospitalizations, ER trips, doctor appointments, and numerous tests. Personally, the conscientious care and staff have been there for me in uncountable ways and I will be forever grateful.

      This amazing hospital has been a big part of my life. When I was born, I had a collapsed lung and was pronounced dead for 7 minutes; Children's Mercy was there to revive me. This is only one event where they have made a huge impact in my life and the lives of my family. Later on, when I was about 14 years old I went into cardiac arrest and Children's Mercy was immediately on their way to treat me.
